Made from a wide variety of florals, stripes, paisleys, double pinks, plaids and calicos cotton. This quilt top satisfies any antique fabric lover's desire for color and pattern. Log Cabin quilts are traditionally both pleasingly graphic and sophisticated in design.
Blocks measuring 10-3/4" x 10-3/4" inches contain 1" to 1-1/4" inch wide logs. Double Pink chimneys measure 1 1/4 inches square. Quilt top measures 74-1/2" x 74". The condition is VERY good, no shredding, no repairs, as found, few small storage oxidation spots.
This quilt top is strong and sturdy. The quilt top is totally hand pieced and hand stitched with fabrics from the 1870's. I have not washed this quilt top, in as found condition. This quilt would make a great visual wall hanging. I have other antique quilts and quilt tops listed in my Store.
